How entry to Malaysia works
Visa-free
Citizens of 60+ countries including all EU member states, the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea can enter Malaysia without a visa for up to 90 days.
MDAC required
Regardless of visa status, every traveler must submit the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within 72 hours before arrival. It is a mandatory online registration.
Visa-on-arrival
Some nationalities can obtain a visa upon arrival at major Malaysian airports and entry points. Check eligibility and fees before you travel.
