72-hour window
Submit your MDAC within 72 hours before you arrive. Too early or too late, the system rejects it. Not earlier, not later.

Romanized names only
Your passport has your name in romanized English. The MDAC form only accepts English text. No Chinese characters. Enter your name exactly as your passport shows it.

Common MDAC mistakes to watch for
Small errors cause delays at check-in or immigration. Avoid these.
- Entering your name in Chinese characters. The MDAC form only accepts romanized English. Use exactly what is on your passport.
- Submitting more than 72 hours before you arrive. The system rejects it. Set a reminder 2 days before your flight.
- Confusing the 30-day visa-free limit. Overstaying by even one day can cause penalties at immigration.
- Forgetting to save or print your MDAC confirmation. Some airlines in Taiwan may ask to see it before boarding.
