Common MDAC mistakes to watch for
Small errors cause delays at check-in or immigration. Avoid these.
- Entering your father's name or grandfather's name as a middle name when the form only has two fields. Stick to given name and family name from your passport.
- Submitting the MDAC too early. If you submit 4 days before your flight, the system rejects it. Wait until the 72-hour window.
- Selecting the wrong entry point. If you transit through Dubai and fly into KLIA, your entry is KLIA, not Dubai.
- Not saving the MDAC confirmation. Airlines in Cairo may ask to see proof of submission before they issue your boarding pass.
